Welcome to the ficathon for the kickass alien babe of Stargate Atlantis - Teyla Emmagen.
There's precious little Teyla-focused fic around, so here's a chance to give Teyla a few fics centered around her.
Ficathon Details
What: 1000 words about Teyla
When:
Sign-ups: until the 10th May
Assignments out: by the 15th May
Assignments due: by the 22nd June
On the 22nd June, I'll post a ficathon masterlist indicating who wrote what for whom, and ask all participants to comment with a link to their story.

Regarding requests:
1. You can list requests in different ways: (eg. blue, feather, a Wraith, Teyla singing), a scenario (eg. Teyla has to get her team-mates out of a tight situation and she can't call Atlantis for help), or a phrase (eg. "somewhere beyond the sea, she's there, watching for me"), or a combination.
2. Please do not request the same pairing for all three requests. Allowing only a single pairing can make it very difficult to fill a request. I would even prefer that you listed another category: so two het requests and one gen.
3. Try to be open with what you'll write as far as pairings go. If you absolutely, positively can't write a specific pairing, then try for friendship, instead. If you can't write Teyla in a friendship with most of the Atlantis characters, then why are you signing up in this ficathon? However, I will not make you write a pairing you don't want to write - I'm just asking people to be open to the possibility of writing a pairing that may not be your preferred one.
It should be fairly obvious that all requests and stories should be focused around Teyla.
