If I could get Rodney and Ronon done in time, I'd sub it for the
team_sga challenge.

(It's a Marvel AU: John goes Bug, Teyla phases like Shadowcat and has latent empathic skills. Go read my fic "Living With It" for the basics.
The original sketch is in this post. I took Rodney and Ronon out for this version to simplify the layout (and so I wouldn't have so much to colour).
Praise? Concrit?
I know that the foreshortening on John's arm isn't very good - I have to work on my foreshortening skills. How about the colouring? The layout/design? The hair??

Foreshortening. . . an extremely hard thing to master. I always turn to photo references. I suggest you do the same. If you can't find a photo, then look in the mirror and do the pose, or get a friend/family member to model for you. I remember you mentioned before that you used references.
The angle of Teyla's neck into her right shoulder needs to be at at a more distinct 90 degree angle. And I think there needs to be more of Rodney's right arm/elbow showing behind his hand, because even though it's farther back, it looks too small.
Ok (hope you don't mind), I messed around with this in photoshop to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

I think it would be a lot easier if you just made Teyla's arm a bit longer rather than trying to foreshorten it when you don't really have to.

But thank you for pointing out Teyla's neck and head, and the point about her arm. And I'll look at what I can do for John's forearm and claw.

That's John, huh. Sorry. Honestly, the reason I took it for Rodney was because he looks...kinda out of shape. So, I'd definitely prescribe slimming his arms, chest and waist down a bit.

Ok, I see it's John in the face now. And the hair should have been a giveaway as well. But yeah...
