For my Be Compromised Secret Santa, I received In No Time by chrisfaithalin which is lovely Clint/Natasha with a smidgeon of Steve/Maria, and most particularly because it's not a story about How They Get Together so much as them being Already Together and Dealing With Issues Left Over From Loki while Interacting With Other People. And it's much more ensemble, which I really really enjoy!

The original plotbunny was "Pepper gets kidnapped and kicks metaphorical arse with three inch heels and the assistance of Natasha, Maria, and Sif", but the logistics of the story proved more than my scrambled brain could handle at the time. Maybe in time for halfamoon?

It's just what he does" only Tony actually doesn't come on to everyone enough to make it really accurate. This is certainly not my usual kind of fic, but it was kind of fun to write all the same!

Betty Ross, Darcy Lewis, Jane Foster, Maria Hill, Natasha Romanoff, Peggy Carter, Pepper Potts and Sif. Plus assorted heterozygous characters of lesser note.

This is AMAZING. Beautifully written, well-thought out, very female-focused, uncomfortable and complicated and poignant and sharp all at once. Natasha and Peggy's sections are particularly moving.

I admit, I had to skim Darcy's section to get to 'the good stuff' which pretty much started with Betty Ross, who I don't even know. And I would have liked a bit more in-depth Maria, but still.
